Km from Cape L'Agulhas, the southern most tip of Africa.
1) COMING FROM THE GARDEN ROUTE
(N2):
Go to and through REVIERSONDEREND.
After approx. 10 km turn LEFT into R326 "Stanford".
Drive about 60 km and you arrive
on a STOP just in front of Stanford.
Turn LEFT (do not enter the
village) and proceed on the R43 towards Gansbaai (away from
Hermanus) for 8 km.
You will see panels on your left
hand side indicating
followed by a large,
white gate on which is written
COUNTRY PLACE, and which is
flanked by two flagpoles.
Go through the gate and up on the
private, tarred driveway. HERE we are.
2) COMING FROM CAPE TOWN, the
AIRPORT, SOMMERSET WEST or STELLENBOSCH:
Go on to the highway N2, away from
Cape Town, to Sommerset West. Drive for approx. 100 km until
"EXIT No. 90 Hermanus" and proceed
on this road (R43) to and through Hermanus.
From Hermanus continue
for 32 km, pass Stanford, towards Gansbaai. You will see
panels on your left hand side indicating
followed by a large, white gate on
which is written
COUNTRY PLACE, and which is
flanked by two flagpoles.
Go through the gate and up on the private,
tarred driveway. HERE we are.
Driving tips for South Africa

on the left of the road.
